Wow, it's been a while since I've written anything. That's what happens when you're really busy. So anyhow I've decided to really start developing more web sites and what not. I have a few ideas and proposals. Something of the nature of Saturn and Jupiter, or perhaps some sort of blogging web site of my own. A lot of things are changing and recently I lost a good friend of mine. So things are different now. Time to get serious and put some of my old talents of web making to work. I'm still a little frustrated that my Apple stock went up after I sold a few just to pay some bills, well not feeling bad for Apple, I think they're an awesome company with a solid business model and great products too. Even though at work we use IBM PC clones and what not. My first computer still was an Apple IIe. Have you ever used and Apple IIe? Well, it's like this RAM costed $1,000 for one Megabyte back in the day. Yeah, that's it 1 MB. Now, forget about it. If it still costed $1,000/Megabyte we would all be broke. Times are moving fast. Just got back from vacation and I had a great time. Sun, fun, ocean waves and everything. Have you ever been to Mexico? Wow, what a 3 weeks this has been. Just moved in to my new condo and this place is fantastic. Has tennis courts, swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room, you name it. Well, survived Memorial Day weekend, now just getting some rest and relaxation. Would like to get some work done today even though everyone is going out to a club over by where I live. I haven't been able to concentrate on USA Pixel Host, thinking that by itself it would generate some attention. It's a good looking site and I'm wondering why nobody has decided to buy any pixels. These pixels will be up for as long as the site generates a little bit of income. Even if I sell one pixel square, the site will be up for at least 5 years. Please if you would like me to reduce the price, or if you think that it is a good idea to do so and that more people will buy pixels, feel free to enter a blog saying so. I don't know what's happening out there until everyone starts communicating. Hope to hear from anyone soon.

Geeze, it looks like I sold a few pixels this month eh? Not bad, I still have a few million left for anyone else interested in buying/renting pixel space. I figure that when this page is filled up with advertisements, it will be my homepage because everything that I could ever possibly want or need will be on this page. Well, that's the idea really. It will almost be like one large portal. Looking good so far. I also started submitting my web sites to search engines across the globe. Every little avenue of advertisement and marketing helps. I still can't believe that I made it to the top of the Google charts before I submitted my page. They must have spiders and web bots or something scouring the internet for pages like www.milliondollarmicro.com and www.usapixelhost.com
. With a name like this one, it's sure to get some attention. Well, no band practice today for me. I'm gonna go take a drive around the city and see what kind of pictures i can take of the skyline. I have a friend who wants me to do her modeling site. Yeah, you know it's cool when you have girls wanting you to take some hot pictures of them and then sticking them on a Web site. I'll let everyone know when it's done or what not. Maybe I'll even get to be the lead photographer, who knows.

What a busy weekend, I just bought some electronic drums to practice on for my new band. We haven't yet decided what to call the band but it should be something funny. So far we've decided to play some cover tunes, some old stuff, some new stuff, and some stuff that's like way old link Pink Floyd and Almond Brothers and what not. Me personally, I've been playing heavy metal, alternative, and pop for quite sometime, most of the stuff was original, so it's a bit of a stretch. You know once you get one piece of drum equipment it's like you can't stop getting more and adding more and more. Wish I could start selling some more of these pixels. That USAPixel host site hasn't even appealed to anyone, was it something that i wrote? Anyhow, if anyone is reading this let me know how to advertise my advertising web site. Gotta sell some of these things... I'm sure once it gets going though, it will just start to fall into place.

I just signed up with Google Ad Words today, let's see how my campaigns fair against all of the other pixel web sites out there. Hey, it's 25 cents per click on my ads so they're not cheap, at least not for me. Hopefully, they will start paying off before I go totally broke. I'm still working on the administration back end, should be finishing this up by the end of the week hopefully. About midway through the backend editing system where a user can upload the files or edit the ones already in place. It's a little tricky, but shouldn't take too much longer to finish, I'm estimating this to take about two days or so to pan things out. Now that I know that this is actually going to work, I can take relax a little. I want to make this thing nice so I'll take my time and not rush into things. I mean if you take a look at a lot of these other sites, they kinda rushed into it, maybe added a nice background, gimmick or whatever, and surprisingly they're actually getting a lot of traffic. Basically if you read all of the disclaimers, privacy policies on every Web site they basically say the same things. Ok so here's the deal, the price for monthly service for the pixel ads is 24.95/month. That's pretty good, and if this thing picks up soon I'm hoping to see more people get some space renting some pixels. Already sold like 60,000 which is pretty good even though each pixel doesn't cost a dollar but rather 83 cents. Nothing like the original, but this site was built by yours truly, and I hope to expand the site to cover more areas that interest everyone. The most important thing about making Websites is the service that you provide the customer. I aim to please, and people say that I'm a pretty nice guy so I don't see why I can't accomodate anyone with their needs. I'm here to help if you need it so don't hesitate to ask any questions or send any emails.

Wow this new XHTML stuff is really driving me crazy right now, what ever happened to the good old days of HTML 4.0 and Netscape 3? Even IE 5.5 would be fine, but this new stuff, totally takes out img tags that I'm trying to set up for some advertisement for quite a few clients. This part of the site is actually booming right now, I can't wait until this section goes live.

It was the weekend and I had to go into the city to celebrate with one of my friends who is actually leaving the country again to go to a more tropical paradise in Thailand. Have fun bro. Also, had to go to one of my best friend's birthday party. It was a good time. However, I didn't get to finish up this site. It just needs a little more tweaking and cosmetic effects but I think I'll be in good shape when I get back to work on this. Wow, just got one of the final versions of the header up. The white background and the three bars with slight gradient wasn't cutting it. The page before was way too bright for anyone to look at especially to stare at some pixel ads. So i thought of an original plan that I had of a computer chip. Actually a micro is what everyone is calling these 10x10 pixel squares. Check out the site. Let me know what you think of the top banner, scrap it, not scrap it. Wadya think? All I know is it's a lot better than before. I would like to possibly make an animated gif of some sort, you'll know what i mean when you see the new top banner. Time to sleep. alright, i got it working now. resizes the images and everything. next steps are working on the other pages, and linking this baby to my friends Websites and what not. I hope this thing works. Even if it doesn't it was fun trying to make this thing using the newest technologies that MS has to offer. Just ran into a bug with the ASP.Net compiler in VS.Net 2005. Yep, unlike those other sites, this site was built in ASP.Net 2.0. Very cutting edge, expensive, but makes development time a little easier, and i can keep making this site better and better. Try using a php script to do your taxes. not gonna happen...
